Since we were established in 1939, our company has been involved in parts manufacturing and sales in the high pressure gas industry for home, manufacturing, and transportation use.

Company History

August 1939 Yoshio Miyata, the founder, established Miyata Mfg. Co., Ltd. At 15 Nozato-Cho Nishiyodogawa-Ku Osaka Japan.
December 1940 Relocated the head office to the present address (Nishinagasu-Cho Amagasaki) due to industrial expansion, and entered the defense industry.
June 1945 Plant burned down during the war.
February 1946 Rebuilt the plant and started a pipe coupling process.
February 1952 Received a high evaluation for technique of machining a precision screw on an inner surface of a curved section of a high-pressure pipe.
Manufactured neck rings for acetylene cylinder.
March 1961 As personal incomes rose due to the economic revival of Japan, propane gas became widespread as home-use fuel. Developed a high-speed screw cutting machine to manufacture neck rings of propane cylinders.
January 1965 Due to drastically increasing demand for propane gas, a 50kg cylinder became widespread.
Developed industry's first steel cap, achieving both mass production and cost reduction.
August 1969 Established a new neck ring plant in Nagasunakadori, Amagasaki, in order to deal with the increasing demands from the spread of propane.
December 1974 Started to export products in earnest during oil crisis, and entered the domestic market for automobile cylinders at the same time.
July 1985 Relocated the neck ring plant to Mukogawa industrial park, now referred to as Plant 2 while the cap plant is referred to as Plant 1. Utilized the former site of the neck ring plant as a physical distribution center, and established the instant delivery system.
October 1987 Toshiaki Nakahara assumed the role of president.
June 1989 NC lathes and robots allowed for the small-lot production of many products. Introduced our quality assurance system.
August 1997 Relocated Plant 1 to Mukogawa industrial park to rationalize the facilities of the cap plant.
August 2000 Introduced enterprise LAN system to improve the management of orders and documents.
July 2002 Obtained approval of business innovation plan [Shin-Nan (regional development) Clause 81-4-1].
December 2003 Acquired ISO 9001 certification.
November 2006 Relocated the sales department to the Mukogawa office.
May 2010 Tomohiro Murata assumed the role of president in place of Toshiaki Nakahara, the second president.
April 2015 Obtained approval of business innovation plan [Shin-Nan (prefecture) Clause 1089].
June 2015 Subsidized by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry based on the company’s superior business plan.
June 2016 Subsidized by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for two consecutive years.
July 2017 Obtained approval from Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry for business plan to enhance management ability.
July 2018 Introduce a production management system to streamline production management operations.
September 2018 Relocated Head Office ・ Distribution Center from Nishinagasu-Cho, Amagasaki to Ohama-Cho, Amagasaki.
August 2019 It celebrates its 80th anniversary.
September 2019 Obtained approval from Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry for business plan to enhance management ability.
September 2021 Obtained approval from Kansai Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry for business plan to enhance management ability.
